Happy New Year
It's that time again ...Just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone good luck with their New Year's goals and resolutions. It's an interesting time out there and I think 2009 will be a challenging one on many levels. But, if we can all stick to trying to better ourselves and push ourselves to achieve our goals it is bound to help not only ourselves and those around us, but hopefully it could make a difference on a global level. Baby steps people, baby steps...

Happy Election Day!!

Happy Election Day!!
Not that anyone I know needs to be reminded to vote today, but I wanted share this list just the same. Don’t take your right to vote for granted - it is an important honor that not everyone in the world has the privilege to do. So no matter whom you decide to vote for today, get out, vote and make a difference!
1. Voting is the cornerstone of every great democracy
2. Voting helps shape local, state, and federal public policy
3. Voting expresses your opinion and shows you care
4. Your vote will help to determine the future, YOUR future (taxes, environment, health care, poverty, social security, foreign policy, etc.)
5. You will be making history
6. You don't want to regret the opportunity ...
7. If you don't vote, you can't complain - you have an opportunity to express your voice DO IT!
8. Be a good example to our children, grandchildren - your vote helps shape their future
9. Because EVERY vote counts - the 2000 election showed how close it can really get
10. Vote to honor those who fought and struggled for our right to express ourselves, civil rights, women's suffrage, immigrant rights, our countries freedom and supported the ideals of "JUSTICE for ALL"
